Cherry, plum, blackberry jam, clove, cedar, and menthol dominate the nose. On the palate, the extended barrel results in a smooth finish, framed by well-integrated tannins, and bright acidity.
Our Estate Merlot comes from head-trained vines planted in 1986. These old vines produce balanced, elegant merlot, with ample concentration and depth.
After a cool fermentation in stainless steel, the 2019 Merlot was aged for 30 months in French oak. The extended barrel aging resulted in well integrated oak and seamless tannins.
