Lava Cap Winery Shipping Policy

Our business hours are Monday to Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm Pacific Time.  Orders are processed and shipped Monday - Thursday to allow for delivery before the weekend wherever possible.  Please contact us directly (800-475-0175) if your order is time sensitive.Orders for CA, NV and AZ are shipped overnight via GSO.  Orders to all other states are shipped via UPS Ground.  Orders are shipped for delivery on business days (Monday - Friday) only.

State Shipping Restrictions

Due to State laws, we are only able to ship wine to States that allow direct shipment.  In addition, each State imposes limitations on the amount of wine any particular adult may receive by direct shipment.  To ensure that you are able to order wine for direct shipment from our website, please consult the specific State requirements for your State below.  If there is a problem with your order, we will contact you directly.

Wine may be sold and delivered only to persons who are at least 21 years old. By placing your order, you represent to us that you are at least 21 years old and that the person to whom delivery will be made is at least 21 years old. When your wine is delivered, the person receiving delivery may be required to show identification proving that he or she is at least 21 years old. Wine will not be delivered to a visibly intoxicated person.

 

Arizona

Purchases limited to two (2) cases per year per individual. 

California

No limit on purchases.

Colorado

No limit on purchases.

Florida

No current limitations.  We are unable to ship to the following dry Counties:  Lafayette, Liberty, Madison, Suwannee, & Washington

Georgia Purchases limited to 1 case per month per individual by phone or internet.  Limit of 5 cases per person per month in the tasting room..

Idaho

Purchases limited to two (2) cases per shipment per individual.  The State requires a 6% tax be added to the order.

Illinois

Direct shipment of up to twelve 1(2) cases of wine per year per individual.  The State requires a 6.25% tax be added to the order.

Iowa

Purchases limited two (2) cases of wine per month per individual.

Kansas

1 case per month per household

Maryland Limit of 18 cases per year.  The state requires a 9% sales tax be added to the order.

Michigan

2 cases per month per person. (Date of birth is required for purchaser.)

Minnesota

Purchases limited to two (2) cases per year per individual.

Missouri

Purchases limited to two (2) cases per month per individual.

Nevada

Purchases limited to twelve (12) cases per year per individual.

New Hampshire Purchase limited to 60 bottles per year per household.  We cannot ship to the following cities:  Brookfield, Ellsworth, Landaff, Monroe or Sharon.  The State requires an 8% mark-up tax be added to the order.

New Mexico

Purchases limited to two (2) cases per month per individual.

New York

Purchases limited to thirty-six (36) cases per year per individual.

North Carolina

Purchases limited to two (2) cases per month per individual.

North Dakota Purchases limited to two (2) cases per month per individual.
Ohio Purchases limited to 24 cases per year per household.  There is a 5.5% sales tax added.

Oregon

Purchases limited to two (2) cases per month per individual.

Texas

Purchases limited to 3 cases & 9 bottles per month per individual.

Virginia

Purchases limited to two (2) cases per month per individual.

Washington

No limit on purchases.

Washington D.C. Purchases limited to 1 case per month per individual.

Wisconsin

Purchases limited to three (3) cases per year per individual. (Date of birth is required for purchaser and receiver.) The state requires a 5% sales tax be added to the order.

Wyoming
